SCIENCE LEARNING PARTNERSHIP

 

 

 

 

 

Our dedicated SLP team hold the contract from the Department for Education to strengthen the teaching of science, they are responsible for the development of all the science teachers in Merseyside and Warrington.

 

We run primary networks with hundreds of NW primary schools using subject experts to develop the curriculum and improve the quality of education across the region.

 

We work with secondary schools and colleges as well. Supporting heads of department with improvement of education for students who live in the North West region.

 

Primary Networks

 

We are currently working with primary schools across the whole of greater Merseyside to deliver high quality science CPD.

 

The primary network package includes sessions for science subject leaders focused around developing the science curriculum, assessment, moderation and developing skills of both staff and students.

 

There are also subject knowledge sessions open to all primary staff including EYFS, KS1, Lower KS2, Upper KS2, Embedding science in maths, thinking and talking for disadvantaged students and year 6 into 7 transition.

 

Secondary Science

 

We run several programmes that support secondary science curriculum development and teaching.

 

 

Enthuse Partnerships

 

Linking with companies across the UK we offer a tailored programme of CPD and development to clusters of schools across STEM subjects.
